Ireland - Donegal to Derry

Once we entered the gate we climbed up onto the wall ramparts with their cannons, some of which date back to 1600. From here we have a view of the Guildhall and the Peace Bridge. The walls are over 1.5km long and up to 8m high and 9m wide. Originally there were four gates into the walled city and two had drawbridges.
